George grew up in Brooklyn, had two sisters, Anne and Mary. Served in the Merchant Marine.
He visited me several times at my Brooklyn home while I was in elementary school.
George served our country in the Merchant Marine. He brought me multiple little souvenirs from the Pacific islands they stopped at.

I am a close relative of George Waltz, Brooklyn, born 1921. He served in the Merchant Marine
during World War Two. He was my father’s only nephew.
I am trying to find his burial place or any other information about him. Please reply to Virginia Morgan at this address.

My dad, Albert E Bamforth was a MM captain and crossed the Atlantic many times during the war. He died in 1997.

He jumped overboard to help save his fellow men and was awarded a Meritorious medal.
I need to locate and find help to find more information about him. He passed in July 1977. Anyone … Please.
