You are invited to Transylvania County鈥檚 Veterans Day Observance to honor all veterans on Thursday, November 11 at 11:00 AM in front of the museum (next to the Transylvania County Courthouse) at 21 East Main Street in Brevard.
The keynote speaker will be Ken Corn, a former Iraq War Correspondent, WLOS-TV photojournalist, and museum vice president.
The Transylvania County Honor Guard and Daughters of the American Revolution members will participate.
The new book , a collection of area Korean War veterans鈥 personal stories will be launched. Some of the veterans will be available to sign their stories in the book after the ceremony.
The museum will be open for tours until 3:00 PM. Please join us to honor your veterans and all veterans鈥攐n the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

I wrote a song called “Don’t Call Me Sir” to honor Corporal Johnny Martinez. Would it be possible for me to sing it with my guitar on Veterans Day?
